Seasonal Activity Director for Beach Front Resort in Destin

Position Overview:
Silver Dunes Beach Resort is seeking an energetic and outgoing Seasonal Activity Director to help create a fun and engaging atmosphere for our owners and guests. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with families, and organizing kid-friendly activities at a beachfront property.

The Activity Director will plan and host daily games and activities for children and families staying at the resort. When activities are not taking place, the position will also assist in operating our beachfront hut by greeting guests, promoting Silver Dunes, and selling resort merchandise and refreshments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and host daily kid-friendly games and activities for resort owners and guests
• Organize beach games, poolside activities, and family-friendly events
• Create a welcoming and fun environment for guests of all ages
• Assist with operating the beach hut when activities are not scheduled
• Promote the resort and interact with guests walking the beach
• Sell resort merchandise such as shirts, hats, beach towels, and refreshments including ice cream and snacks
• Help maintain a clean and organized activity and hut area
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the resort in a positive manner

Qualifications:

• Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoys working with children and families
• Comfortable speaking with and engaging guests
• Ability to work outdoors in a beach environment
• Responsible, dependable, and self-motivated
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus
• Weekend availability is required
