Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Section Head – Accounts Receivable to lead and manage the AR function at a group level. This role is responsible for ensuring timely collections, optimizing working capital, strengthening internal controls, and leading the AR team to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable team
• Ensure timely collection and accurate invoicing across the group
• Monitor credit limits, perform credit risk assessments, and manage customer follow‑ups
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual AR forecasts and reports
• Calculate Expected Credit Loss (ECL) on a quarterly basis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations
• Work closely with IT to enhance ERP and AR systems
• Support audits and senior management reporting
• Train, evaluate, and develop AR team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5–8 years of Accounts Receivable experience, including leadership role
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, ERP systems, and accounting principles
• Proven leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Qatar or GCC is required
• Languages: English mandatory; Arabic is a strong advantage
