Section Head Process - Texturizing

Gatron (Industries) Limited, one of the leading manufacturing companies operating in Pakistan. We are looking for Section Head Process - Texturizing to manage our plant operations based in HUB Chowki.

Position Summary

Responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring technical parameters and process standards to ensure consistent yarn quality and operational efficiency. The role involves close supervision of textured and drawn yarn production, maintaining product specifications, optimizing process conditions, resolving technical issues in real time, and driving production optimization and cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor technical parameters and SOP compliance for polyester textured yarn.
• Analyze daily production results and machine data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot yarn quality issues (variation, broken filaments, dyeing defects) and conduct root cause analysis.
• Reduce defects, minimize waste, and improve resource utilization (men, material, machines).
• Coordinate with spinning, packing, and laboratory teams to address production abnormalities and align upcoming production plans.
• Ensure machine readiness and adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the spinning team to ensure POY is produced as per requirements.
• Highlight daily abnormalities and ensure corrective measures across departments.
• Identify and address potential hazards during routine inspections.
• Conduct machine trials for new yarn specifications and process improvements in collaboration with Product Development and QA teams.
• Manage workforce allocation across shifts to meet operational requirements.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 10+ years in polyester/textured yarn manufacturing or related production environment.

• Proven ability to analyze production data and implement corrective actions.
• Sound knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance coordination.
• Strong leadership, team supervision, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in production efficiency control, cost management, and budgeting principles.
