Section Officer - Fruits & Vegetables

Job description:

• Supervise daily operations of the Fruits & Vegetables section at the retail store.
• Monitor quality, freshness, and hygiene of F&V items as per company standards.
• Manage receiving, handling, storage, and proper display of products.
• Ensure timely replenishment and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Track and control wastage, shrinkage, and expired items.
• Implement pricing, promotions, and planograms as directed by the category team.
• Train and guide section staff on handling, display, and customer service.
• Address customer queries/complaints related to F&V items.
• Maintain daily reports on stock levels, sales, and wastage.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for smooth replenishment.

Requirements:

• Intermediate/Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Agriculture, Business, or Supply Chain).
• 2–3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in fresh produce (F&V section).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
