Security Command Center Operator/Dispatcher and Officer

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Dispatcher/Command Center Operator (CCO) to join our team at the iconic US Steel Tower. The CCO serves as the central point for all security-related communication and intelligence within the building. This role is critical to ensuring safety, coordination, and rapid response across all security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage CCTV systems and fire panels
• Coordinate the movements of security officers and track activity
• Handle elevator entrapments and dispatch emergency services as needed
• Control key distribution and access logs
• Provide real-time communication and updates to appropriate personnel
• Maintain a professional demeanor while managing multiple systems and responding to incidents

Qualifications

• Proficient in computer use and comfortable with various security systems
• Capable of typing efficiently and navigating software platforms quickly
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively
• Prior dispatch or command center experience is a plus, but not required
• Weekends are a must! 3PM-11PM Saturday-Wednesday.
