Security Engineer

Job Summary:
This is a mid-level role, responsible for independently performing assigned deployment, implementation and technical support tasks for the company’s cybersecurity solutions portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently conduct configuration, deployment and validation of security solutions in customer environments.
• Execute deployment tasks according to SOPs and standard guides, ensuring compliance with access, change control and security requirements.
• Verify environment readiness and troubleshoot deployment issues within approved scope.
• Support post-deployment testing and validation.
• Address and resolve customer-reported technical issues within defined scope.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and provide recommendations under guidance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex problems.
• Maintain clear documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Engagement with customers for clarification and technical updates.
• Provide status updates, progress reports and escalation information timely to seniors or project coordinators.
• Contribute to prepare client deliverables, training materials, deployment related documents and user guidance documents.
• Mentor juniors in tools, methodology and documentation practices.
• Adhere to the company's reporting standards, templates and quality processes.
• Additional responsibility as assigned by the competent authority and prescribed in organizational policy.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of related cyber security experience of delivering cyber security solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of networking and application security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with OS administration (Windows/Linux) and basic scripting (Python/Bash).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity solutions (e.g., EDR, SIEM, PAM, DLP, endpoint security).
• Ability to execute deployment, troubleshooting, and validation independently within scope.
• Understanding of logs, diagnostics, and system behavior analysis.
• Initiative in process improvement and documentation quality.
• Accuracy and completeness of deployment and support tasks with quality, clarity and consistency of documentation.

Pay: Rs10,000.00 - Rs160,000.00 per month
