Job Summary
The Security Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and monitoring all security operations, including deployment, supervision, and performance of security guards at multiple client sites. This role ensures high standards of security services, client satisfaction, compliance with company policies, and smooth coordination between clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities1. Security Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day security operations across all assigned client sites.
- Ensure proper deployment, scheduling, and rotation of security guards.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, punctuality, and overall performance of guards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure security standards are met.
2. Client Relationship & Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding security operations.
- Address client complaints, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports to clients and management.
3. Team Management
- Manage supervisors, shift in-charges, and security guards.
- Conduct training on basic security protocols, emergency response, and grooming/discipline.
- Ensure guards have proper uniforms, equipment, and ID cards.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain records of deployment, duty rosters, attendance, and guard documentation.
- Ensure guards meet legal requirements and company standards (background checks, CNIC, police verification, etc.).
- Prepare incident reports, investigation summaries, and security assessments.
5. Emergency Handling
- Respond to emergencies such as theft, fire, accidents, or any security breaches.
- Train guards on emergency procedures and crisis management.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when required.
6. Operational Improvements
- Identify gaps in security and recommend improvements in procedures and training.
- Support HR in guard recruitment and performance evaluation.
- Help in planning manpower requirements for new and existing sites.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role in a security services company.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple sites and teams effectively.
- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and client handling.
- Proficient in preparing reports, duty rosters, and operational documentation.
- Physically fit, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
- Preferred: Ex-Army or Armed Forces background.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in security operations management.
- Experience in a security guards providing firm is highly desirable.
