Shift hours- 11am to 9pm on Sundays.

9pm to 7am Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

This position will serve as an extension of the Dispatch team. You will monitor and operate the security cameras and associated equipment within the Dispatch Room.

This role will ensure that incidents are immediately reported to the appropriate party or relevant agency and will proactively identify issues, when possible. The ideal candidate must have the following skills.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Computer Literate: Basic or intermediate knowledge of computer systems and the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a security or dispatch center is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to type.
  • Mature judgment and the ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Be fluent in the English language (written and spoken).
  • Alert, Proactive, and a Strong Communicator.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and can work as part of a team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to multiple alarm alerts via CCTV systems simultaneously.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to all alarm alerts.
  • Contact the necessary personnel, such as clients for authorization approvals, law enforcement, or fire department, in case of emergencies.
  • Record all alarm activations and cancellations in the computer system.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure the functionality of alarm systems
  • Provide clear, concise information to emergency responders
  • If required, complete follow-ups with clients to ensure the situation has been resolved.
  • Stay updated on protocol changes and updates in emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor and respond to alarm signals from various systems such as fire, intrusion, radar, and emergency alarms.
  • Document all alarm activity and maintain accurate records related to alarm incidents.
  • Report any system malfunctions to the appropriate parties.
  • Able to work closely with team members to ensure efficient operation of the alarm monitoring center.

Work Hours:

Ten-Hour Shift on Sunday’s 11 am-9 pm

Ten-Hour Shifts: 9 pm to 7 am -Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

40 Hours a week

Must be available to work rotating shifts as directed, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:

  • $17.00/hour

  • Sitting for long periods.
  • Repeating the same movements with the wrist and fingers.
  • Viewing a computer screen for 8-10 hours.
