Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive manufacturing location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and support security-related screening and incident reporting. You will remain highly visible at entry points, communicate clearly with site teams, and help reduce unwanted activity through professional presence and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supported by our agile, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Perform access control duties including verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badging, checking delivery documentation, and directing authorized traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points using logs and available systems, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized access by following established post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter, noting and reporting conditions that may require security-related attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
