Job Description

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yard, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and contractors, verify authorization as required, and direct traffic flow for deliveries, pickups, and gate activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and fire-related conditions, and request additional assistance when needed.
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and escalate security-related issues based on post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
