As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests, assist store teams, and communicate clearly while documenting observations and responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Help to deter theft and other unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing customer traffic patterns, and communicating concerns to store leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock rooms, receiving areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or points of entry, and verify credentials and deliveries according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events with clear written reports, and notify management and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
