Security Officer – Day Shift (Weekdays Only)

Agency Group is hiring Security Officers for a professional administrative office environment in Beaver County.

We currently have one full-time position and one part-time position available. Officers assigned to this post help maintain a safe and professional environment for employees and visitors while providing a visible security presence inside a public-facing office.

This is a stable weekday daytime assignment with consistent hours and no overnight shifts.

Pay

$16.50 – $18.00 per hour
Pay based on experience.

Professional office environment — not a retail environment.

Schedule Full-Time Position

• Monday – Friday
• 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM shift
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• No nights or weekends

Part-Time Position

• Coverage for scheduled days off, vacations, and additional shifts
• Weekday daytime hours
• Additional hours if willing to work in greater Pittsburgh area

The facility is closed on Federal holidays, so guards generally do not work holidays unless special coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence at the facility entrance
• Monitor visitor access and activity within the building
• Conduct routine interior foot patrols of the facility
• Respond to disturbances and assist with conflict de-escalation
• Enforce facility policies and visitor procedures
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unusual incidents
• Assist staff with safety concerns and parking escorts when requested
• Maintain communication with office personnel
• Complete daily shift and incident reports

Officers assigned to this position play an important role in protecting employees, visitors, and property while maintaining a professional and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Prior security, law enforcement, military, or corrections experience
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

First Aid / CPR / AED certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
