Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver clear, professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization as required, directing visitors and vendors according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate security-related observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
