Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will observe and report unusual activity, support access control and visitor interactions, and respond to needs with clear communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and report unusual activity through the appropriate communication and incident documentation channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete detailed shift reports, patrol logs, and incident reports, and communicate observations and handoff information to the next shift and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
