Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Weirton, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech location, you will patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related concerns while delivering standout customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and timely response. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or suspicious conditions.
  • Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, and directing guests to the appropriate destination in accordance with site policies.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, report irregularities, and maintain accurate shift logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
