As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and a customer service mindset while documenting observations and responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify appropriate staff and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Control access by monitoring public and staff entry points, verifying credentials and/or visitor permissions, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma/GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
