Security Response Officer PRN - Our Lady of the Angels

The Security Response Officer inspects, monitors, controls, and patrols work sites, an assigned facility, and/or people, and may be expected to collect and complete paperwork. Maintains security at all hospital outlets. The position relies on guidelines and some experience and judgment to complete job and works under general supervision.

1. TECHNICAL TASKS
a. Keep daily reports accurate and neat.
b. Checks equipment to insure safety.
c. Understands the access control system. 15%

a. Carries out assignments as directed.

d. Regularly reports security incidents to supervisor.
e. Handles emergency/crisis situations appropriately.

Experience: 5 years' experience in law enforcement, military, and or corrections

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Training: Successful completion of Louisiana POST Weapon Cert.

Licensure: Valid driver's license; BLS
