Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Support audits (internal and external), including preparation of audit schedules and documentation
• Reconcile complex accounts and manage intercompany transactions
• Supervise junior accountants or accounting clerks, if applicable
• Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and systems
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 4–6+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or corporate finance)
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., manufacturing, SaaS, non-profit, etc.)
• Familiarity with SOX compliance or internal controls (for public companies)
