Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate must have at least 5 years of proven UAE experience in accounting and finance, with strong knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing accurate reports, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to management.
• Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
• Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and local financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
