Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Karachi (Baldia town)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end close.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

Monitor internal controls and recommend enhancements for accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and cross-functional teams.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
