About the Company
We are an upcoming energy-sector company focused on sustainable solutions and advanced manufacturing. As we scale our operations and prepare for large-scale production, we are looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership of our financial management, ensure compliance, and support the leadership team in decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ledger management, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalisation of balance sheet, profit & loss account, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Supervise and guide junior accountants on accounting entries and documentation.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory laws.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax Returns (ITR).
- Handle tax assessments, scrutiny notices, and queries from authorities.
- Maintain compliance with Ind-AS and Companies Act requirements.
Financial Planning & Control
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, costing reports, and management dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor working capital requirements and maintain proper fund flow planning.
Banking & Credit Lines
- Manage banking operations, including payments, receipts, and fund transfers.
- Handle bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash/bank balances.
- Coordinate with banks for credit lines, term loans, working capital facilities, and fund utilization.
- Prepare CMA data, stock statements, and other documents required by financial institutions.
Audit & Coordination
- Liaise with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and tax consultants.
- Ensure audit readiness with proper documentation and compliance.
- Support audits and resolve auditor queries in a timely manner.
ERP & Systems
- Work on ERP, Tally Prime, or SAP to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
- Drive automation of financial processes, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Implement data-driven systems for compliance and MIS reporting.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team.
- Establish SOPs for accounting, compliance, and reporting.
- Assist CFO/management in strategic decision-making and financial planning.
Requirements
- Qualification: Inter CA / Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant / CA Finalist / MBA Finance.
- Experience: 5–7 years in a manufacturing/energy/infra company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Ind-AS, and Companies Act compliance.
- Experience in balance sheet finalisation, ITR filing, tax assessments, and audits.
- Proficiency in ERP/Tally/SAP, MS Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Compensation
- Salary Range: ₹6.0 – ₹7.5 LPA (₹50,000 – ₹62,500/month)
- Negotiable based on experience, expertise, and value addition.
