Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Muscat, Oman

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and principles.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting records, including standard and job costing, and perform variance analysis.
• Support the development of budgets and forecasts, particularly for production and operational activities.
• Track and analyze budget performance, providing insights on variances and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in financial and general accounting.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an added advantage.
