Senior Accountant – Retail Outlets & Corporate Accounts

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and experienced in managing retail outlet accounts, vendor payments, and daily reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong command over Tally ERP, Excel, and overall financial management, with hands-on experience in banking and retail accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple retail outlets.
• Handle Tally entries (sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, etc.) accurately and on time.
• Prepare and reconcile P&L statements, balance sheets, and ledgers.
• Maintain vendor and customer accounts, and ensure timely payments/collections.
• Manage banking activities – deposits, reconciliations, fund transfers, loan documentation, etc.
• Analyze sales and expense data across outlets using advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS reports).
• Coordinate with auditors, CAs, and management for financial reporting and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail or multi-outlet businesses.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and general accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and handle monthly closures independently.

Preferred

• Experience in inventory and outlet-wise reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Exposure to POS-based or ERP-linked accounting systems.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
