Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (ACCA/CA Inter preferred)
- Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts, finance, or audit functions
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
- Handle customer invoicing, recoveries, vendor payments, and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, including sales tax, income tax, withholding tax, and statutory filings
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems, ensuring proper documentation and audit trails
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Supervise junior accounts staff, review their work, and ensure timely task completion
- Liaise with operations, HR, procurement, and management on financial and commercial matters
- Support management in financial analysis, cost optimization, and business decision-making
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and taxation regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
