Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. You will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial statements, and leading month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within supply and services industry, and possess excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations , ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

- Monitor and analyze activities, including profit and loss calculations, margin requirements, to support strategic decision-making.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.

- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance, applying relevant knowledge to enhance the company's financial operations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.

- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and developing accounting teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
