Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software Xero
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Location :

Tariq Road Near Dolmen Mall, Karachi.

Shift Timings :

9am-6pm (Sunday to Thursday)
