Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Clifton, Karachi

Work Mode: On-site

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary Range: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

Jani Biryani is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company’s overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complete accounts, financial statements, audits, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall accounting operations of the business

Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss statements, Income Statements, and Balance Sheets

Monitor daily, monthly, and annual financial transactions

Ensure accurate recording of sales, expenses, inventory, and cash flow

Oversee accounts payable and receivable

Handle bank reconciliations and cash management

Prepare financial reports for management review

Coordinate and manage audits, including external and internal audits

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial policies

Maintain proper documentation and accounting records

Identify cost controls and support management with financial insights

Manage payroll accounting and related entries (if applicable)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (restaurant or FMCG experience preferred)

Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

Experience handling complete accounts independently

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills
