SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
In this role you will administer and execute accounting transactions through timely and accurate processing, matching, coding and updating into relevant systems in accordance with company policy and procedures in order to provide regular, up-to-date, and accurate information on status or deviations.
This position will report to Manage Accounts and shall be based in Lahore, Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
Execute accounting transactions and govern strict adherence to procedures and guidelines to ensure that accounting books and records are properly maintained, according to Jotun Group policy and local regulations.
Assist in monthly and annual financial closing and reporting by conducting and reviewing financial transactions in order to ensure that the financial reports are prepared correctly, timely, and in compliance with Jotun Finance Policies
Assist in the monthly budgeting process, financial strategy, and business review by providing the necessary information and financial analysis needed for business decision-making.
Conduct monitoring activities by consulting, checking, and filing to ensure that they are in line with internal control guidelines and local requirements.
Handle all supplier payments for local and overseas vendors by preparing, checking, verifying, posting, and signing all payment vouchers to ensure compliance to payment agreed terms.
Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like banks and auditors to meet audit requirements and adhere to local rules and regulations.
Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal controls are in place.

What We Look for:
A Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, preferably with CA (Inter or Finalist), ACCA, or ACMA qualifications.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; articles from a reputable firm will be considered a strong advantage.
Solid practical understanding of Accounting Standards and IFRS.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and develop creative, effective solutions within tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management, multitasking, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience working in an ERP environment will be a plus.
