Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations for one of our manufacturing division. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in full-cycle accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial controls, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of supporting management with accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and variance analysis
• Handle VAT compliance including registration, returns, reconciliations, and audits
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required
• Identify process improvements and ensure accounting best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CMA / ACCA / CA Inter preferred
• 3–5+ years of relevant UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and VAT regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
