About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, payroll) using the ERP/accounting system.

Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

Prepare journal entries, trial balances, and supporting schedules.

Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Reconciliation & Financial Analysis

Reconcile bank statements, vendor/customer accounts, and intercompany balances.

Identify and investigate discrepancies, providing solutions proactively.

Compliance & Tax

Ensure compliance with VAT, income tax, and withholding tax regulations.

Support external audits and contribute to internal control improvements.

Reporting & Cross-Department Support

Prepare timely financial reports and performance insights for management.

Collaborate with other departments for cost analysis and financial data needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or E-commerce sectors.
• Familiarity with Egyptian GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Oracle, SAP, Odoo, or similar).
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset,and accuracy.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
