Location: West Valley City, UT
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Reports To: Corporate Controller

Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the accounting function in
a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is primarily responsible for fixed asset
accounting, inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting support.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of
the general ledger, supporting month-end close, and partnering with operations to
ensure proper inventory valuation and cost controls. This position requires strong
technical accounting skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations related to
  inventory, cost of goods sold, fixed assets, absorption, labor and overhead.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation,
  disposals, and roll-forward schedules
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and ensure compliance with capitalization policies
• Support inventory accounting processes, including standard costing and
  inventory valuation
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and assist in investigating
  discrepancies
• Assist with inventory reserves, excess and obsolete analysis
• Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger
• Assist in monthly and annual financial close processes
• Prepare internal financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
• Support ERP system enhancements related to inventory and fixed assets

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing accounting strongly preferred
• Experience with inventory accounting and fixed asset management required
• Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly related to inventory and fixed assets
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• ERP experience required (Odoo a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
