Senior Accountant – Falkenherz Group

Location: Lahore Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Falkenherz Group is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate will manage and execute accounting transactions with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper coding, processing, and updating in relevant systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to provide regular, accurate updates on financial status and variances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, data entry, document filing, and reporting.
  • Lead monthly and annual financial closing, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in compliance with company policies for all entities and business units.
  • Assist in the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Develop, implement, and improve financial controls and accounting policies.
  • Streamline procurement processes, vendor management, and expense controls.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to taxation, reporting, and corporate governance.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis, risk assessment, and scenario planning.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACCA, CPA, or CA certification is highly desirable.
  • 5-6 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, speak with confidence, and deliver effective presentations.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, audits, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and ERP/accounting software; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.

Pay: Rs250,000.00 per month
