Job Summary

Globus Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, payroll processing, and financial reporting to support the company’s financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Monitor company cash flow and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Handle WPS payroll processing and salary transfers.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions.
• Assist management with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience handling WPS payroll processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA or CMA Intermediate qualification preferred.
• Experience working in a corporate or trading environment.
