Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial management processes.
- Perform cash management activities including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and bank reconciliations.
- Develop detailed financial reports and analysis to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting issues related to payroll, financial concepts, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools; experience with financial management systems is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits and account analysis.
- Ability to perform detailed financial report writing and conduct comprehensive financial analysis confidently.
- Strong organizational skills.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
