Temporary Senior Accountant (1-Month Contract) – Transport Company (UAE)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 1-month temporary assignment in a transport company. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting financial reporting during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and filing requirements
• Manage payroll accounting and employee-related financial records
• Support audit processes and provide required documentation
• Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures
• Coordinate with operations team for transport-related financial tracking (fuel, fleet expenses, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a transport or logistics company in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

• Duration: 1 Month (Temporary Assignment)
• Immediate joining preferred

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
