Senior Accountant (Corporate office)

AED 20,000 -22,000 + family medical + air tickets + education allowance for up to 3 children

We are working with a well-established and growing organisation in the UAE who are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to take ownership of core accounting functions, drive process improvements, and play a key role in financial reporting and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Prepare management reports, KPIs, and variance analysis using advanced Excel
• Manage external audits end-to-end, liaising with auditors and ensuring full compliance
• Oversee cash flow and treasury, optimising liquidity and working capital
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations
• Maintain and review GL, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Drive process improvements and automation, including use of AI tools where applicable
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning through detailed analysis
• Mentor junior team members and support the wider finance function

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA preferred
• 5–7 years’ experience within a corporate or multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Corporate Tax
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems
• Proven experience in audit management and financial reporting
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Experience or interest in AI-driven finance tools and automation is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
