Senior Accountant

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Perform All bank’s reconciliations and resolve discrepancies and Daily Cash & Banks Positions
- Prepare and record Payments Cheques Allover
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with Tax Consultants
- Sales Tax Data Compilation and Handle FBR Integration Portal Application for Monthly Sales Tax Returns.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare Summary of Petty Cash Expenses (All Branches)
- Reconciliations Drawings, Scrape Sales and Cash in Hand Ledgers
- Record Distributors Salaries and Incentives and All Staff Salary Disbursements
- Reconcile Intercompany transactions
- Customers Receipts Vouchers (Cash and Banks)
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Any other tasks from Managers, COO and CEO.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP)
- Advanced Excel skills
