Roles & Responsibilities – Senior Accountant (CA Qualified)
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) and company policies.
- Handle financial reporting, MIS, and variance analysis for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including monitoring actual performance against budgets.
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT filings and other regulatory submissions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial controls to optimize business performance.
- Review and strengthen internal controls, processes, and financial procedures.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and project accounting.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
- Handle fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and asset verification.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
