Senior Accountant

Our client, a global media company, is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will have prior studio accounting experience, experience with content licensing agreements, and expertise with General Ledger reconciliations.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 4 months
• Pay: $48-53/hr W2 (No C2C)
• Schedule: Fully onsite, M-F 9-6PM, OT during month & quarter-ends
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis and reporting of licensing agreements
• Complete financial month end/quarter end close process (revenue recognition and trial balance reconciliations)
• Creating journal entries for posting to the General Ledger
• Analyzing actuals vs forecasts
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Ensuring SOX and other key controls are adhered to
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA Certification is preferred
• 3-6 years of accounting experience in the television, film, or media industry
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• SAP Business Warehouse, Oracle Fusion, and SmartView experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
