Company Overview

We are a well-established contracting company operating in the UAE, delivering high-quality construction and engineering projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounts receivable and support financial operations.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collection, and reporting. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a contracting company and a strong understanding of receivables in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounts receivable processes for multiple projects
• Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients for collections
• Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with project managers and finance team for timely billing
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 to 12 years of experience, with mandatory experience in a contracting/construction company
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and construction project accounting
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with accounting software preferred
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and integrity
