Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our client's real estate operations in Ajman on a contract basis. The role will focus on managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with local regulations.

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain and monitor general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the Finance Manager in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and documentation.
Reconciliation & Financial Control
- Perform bank reconciliations, balance confirmations, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor receivables and payables and ensure timely settlements.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
Budgeting & Financial Support
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Support variance analysis and provide financial data for management review.
- Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports as required.
Revenue & Transaction Monitoring
- Monitor revenue transactions and ensure proper recording of rental income and operational expenses.
- Assist in tracking booking channel collections and financial transactions.
- Support revenue reporting and financial performance tracking.
Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Monitor cash flow movements and assist in managing working capital.
- Support payment planning and maintain accurate cash flow records.
Taxation & Compliance
- Assist in maintaining VAT records and documentation in line with UAE regulations.
- Support audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors when required.
- Ensure proper financial documentation and compliance with internal policies.
Process & Documentation
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in implementing standardized accounting processes and internal controls.
- Support intercompany reconciliations and financial documentation.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect financial information and supporting documents.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing management reports and financial insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience in real estate, hospitality, or holiday homes sector.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems(Odoo, Zoho etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the Finance Manager in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and documentation.
