Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Abu Dhabi

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and other accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Analyze financial data and provide variance reports
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure proper financial recording
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years in a senior role experienced as Accountant in UAE
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
