Senior Accountant - Newtown

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Accounting ∙Record purchase invoices including GST-related entries. ∙Enter and maintain bank and cash transactions. ∙Record trip-related entries using Google Sheets. ∙Enter expense transactions and maintain supporting records. ∙Manage driver salary and staff salary entries. ∙Record EMI interest entries with loan statements. ∙Enter vendor purchase and sales entries.

2. Reconciliation ∙GST reconciliation with GSTR-2A. ∙Bank reconciliation with bank statements. ∙Trip reconciliation with Google Sheets. ∙FASTag reconciliation with FASTag statements. ∙Credit card reconciliation with card statements. ∙Loan account reconciliation with loan statements. ∙Vendor and customer reconciliation. ∙Labour payment and deduction reconciliation. ∙Vehicle maintenance and petrol pump reconciliation. ∙GST and TDS reconciliation.

3. Payments Processing ∙Ensure timely payment of invoices. ∙Process FASTag payments. ∙Manage credit card payments. ∙Handle driver and staff salary disbursement. ∙Process vendor payments. ∙Manage labour payments. ∙Process petrol pump payments. ∙Handle GST, TDS, and statutory payments. ∙Oversee payroll-related payments.

Qualifications & Skills: ∙

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. ∙

Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics/transportation sector. ∙Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. ∙Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.) and MS Excel/Google Sheets. ∙Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ∙Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with accuracy. ∙Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
