Senior Accountant (Oracle Experience Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Oracle systems. The ideal candidate will oversee core accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic financial operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve complex discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Utilize Oracle ERP/financial systems for reporting, analysis, and process optimization
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle (ERP/Financial systems) is required
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred
• Experience in managing audits and financial compliance
• Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment

Pay: QAR6,500.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
