Senior Accountant – QSR Experience - Immediate joiner

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations for QSR locations
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Analyze food cost, labor cost, COGS, and margins; identify variances and trends
• Handle inventory accounting, waste tracking, and cost controls
• Manage AP/AR, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with sales tax, payroll tax, and local/state regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with minimum 2–3 years in QSR or restaurant industry (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of restaurant KPIs (food cost %, labor %, prime cost, store-level P&L)
• Experience with high-volume transactions and multi-location accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
