Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate

Location: Lake Town (Near VIP Haldiram), Kolkata

Salary Range: ₹45,000 – ₹55,000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate must have minimum 10 years of relevant experience in real estate accounting and finance, with proven expertise in bookkeeping, direct tax, indirect tax, and team management. Candidates with CA Inter / MBA Finance qualifications will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization.
• Manage and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain proper records of all financial transactions and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle taxation matters including Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS) and Indirect Tax (GST, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Implement financial controls, budgeting, and cost management processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations related to real estate.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting within the real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, direct & indirect taxation.
• CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
