Senior Airfield Systems 12 months Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst – Airfield Systems to lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of critical airport systems. This role focuses on airfield technologies such as Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) , Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS) , and airport operations systems , with a strong emphasis on Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) and video analytics/CCTV solutions . The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities to drive operational excellence across airport environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and integration of airfield systems , airport operational platforms , and video-based analytics solutions .
• Ensure seamless interoperability with existing airport infrastructure and IT ecosystems.
• Apply A-CDM principles to enhance operational efficiency and collaborative decision-making across stakeholders.
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering , stakeholder workshops, and translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including scopes of work , technical specifications , test plans , and training materials .
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and airport authorities to support system deployment and ongoing operations.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for deployed systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology , Engineering , or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting airport operational systems and airfield technologies .
• Proven experience with A-CDM implementation in both terminal and airfield operations.
• Strong background in IT system integration , project management , and technical troubleshooting .
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English ; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
