Senior Analyst Business Development (Emiratization)
JOB OBJECTIVE:
To support the Business Development Middle East team across a multitude of activities with a primary focus on business development, establishing and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including existing and potential customers, consultants, lenders, supply chain partners, service providers, and various government or industry organizations.
Key Accountabilities
- Investment Analysis: Prepare comprehensive proposals and offers for customers to showcase the full value of working with Tabreed; support investment committee and board presentations; conduct due diligence and ongoing investment reviews through financial modelling and risk analysis; structuring, contract negotiation, financing and project development for new wins; collaborate with Development, Engineering, Projects, Finance, and O&M functions to propose fit for purpose solutions; engage government, regulatory bodies, and industry participants for future district cooling opportunities; maintain customer relationships and provide relevant industry insight.
Business Development Support
- Continuously review market opportunities; participate in commercial negotiations; source connection opportunities to Tabreed's existing assets; work with Projects and Engineering departments to develop technical solutions; coordinate with external advisors and consultants; independently build and review financial models ensuring minimum investment criteria are met; analyze risks associated with new projects; present new projects to Tabreed's Investment Committees; support handover to Asset Management.
Financing Support
- Support SPV project financing, acquisition financing, and hedging strategy for Greenfield and M&A transactions on a non/limited recourse basis to optimize capital structure; perform financial and business analysis for corporate business plans, new projects, pricing alternatives, and other strategies; review legal documentation on all financing documents in liaison with Legal and Treasury departments.

- Internal: Commercial, Projects, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance Departments.
- External: Prospective Customers, Consultants/Advisors, Contractors, Government Organizations.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
- 5 years' experience in investment banking, development function, or management consultancy roles with a top tier organization.
- 3 years' experience in energy utilities, including renewables, power, gas, or waste management organizations.
