Senior Application & Proposal Engineer (Automation & Analytical)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Assist front end team to Collaborate with clients to thoroughly understand their needs, translating requirements into technical solutions that align with company offerings.
• Craft clear, comprehensive, and persuasive proposals that address all RFP/RFQ requirements, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
• Write clear and concise proposals that meet all RFP/RFQ requirements.
• Understanding and knowledge of sample handling systems, P&ID’s.
• Knowledge of analytical systems (GC, CEMS, SWAS).
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, and project management teams to gather insights and feedback, enhancing the quality and competitiveness of proposals.
• Supervise the proposal lifecycle, tracking progress to ensure timely submission and adherence to budget constraints, while identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
• Track the progress of proposals and ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Negotiate with suppliers to finalize the terms of a contract.
• Maintain an organized database of customer and supplier proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate records for future reference and analysis.
• Analyze proposal outcomes and gather feedback to refine processes and improve future submissions, contributing to overall business growth.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all activities.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to team/ company objectives.

Knowledge / Skills :

• Proficient in proposal management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex customer requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
• Experience working with EPCs / OEMs.
• Exposure to ISO procedures and technical proposal documentation.
• Knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLCs, instrumentation, analyzers, and energy management systems is highly appreciated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs85,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
