Senior Architect

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect specializing in Urban Design & Planning to lead large-scale urban projects that shape sustainable, people-centric cities. The ideal candidate will bring strong design leadership, planning expertise, and project management skills, with the ability to balance creativity, functionality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of master plans, urban interventions, and public spaces.
• Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and spatial planning to inform design strategies.
• Ensure projects align with sustainability, mobility, and smart city principles.
• Collaborate with government bodies, developers, consultants, and community stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of urban design reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, encouraging innovation and research-driven design.
• Stay updated with urban policies, zoning regulations, and planning guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture or Urban Design/Planning.
• 3-4 years of experience in urban design, master planning, or related large-scale projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing urban design, public realm, and community-driven projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Revit, and rendering software.
• In-depth knowledge of zoning codes, planning policies, and urban development frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate social, environmental, and economic aspects into design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Registration with Council of Architecture (CoA) or equivalent body (preferred).
